Spending a day with Everglades Ranch in Vero Beach, Florida was a reminder of why authentic agricultural storytelling matters. This shoot was built around a simple idea: a true day in the life of an Everglades ranch cowboy. From early-morning work in the pastures to hands-on moments caring for the cattle, the focus was on real people doing real work. The ranch is family-run, deeply rooted in Florida’s land stewardship, and committed to raising high-end pastured beef the right way—values that guided every frame.
The photography leaned into a documentary and editorial approach, intentionally avoiding the look of polished, sterile stock imagery. Instead, the goal was to show the grit, pride, and quiet rhythm of ranch life as it actually unfolds. These images are designed to help Everglades Ranch connect more meaningfully with both longtime customers and those discovering them for the first time—offering an honest look at where their beef comes from, who raises it, and the everyday work that makes it possible.
